Unseen Landscapes of Singapore
I love old Colonial architecture. I also love nature. The Black & White Project is aimed at combining these two passions. The Black & White houses of Singapore are unique in their style and design and are entwined with the history of Singapore.  Many of these houses are owned by the State and access to them is restricted. Those that have been rented out to private tenants are only accessible with their consent.
Singapore has been my home since 2016. This project is something I took on during the period of the COVID-19 travel restrictions in Singapore and therefore, it ran between 2020-22. The project culminated in a portfolio of approximately 100 fine art landscape images. The images from the portfolio form the basis of a book called 'The Black & White Project - Unseen Landscapes of Singapore'.
Some the images from the book are below. One of the images was selected for the cover of the May 2023 edition of Expat Living magazine.
